The weather has been nice all weekend, with highs of 15 deg. C...I have been ill since the 3rd or 4th of January, and it was only Sunday 8th March that I actually felt 99% better; for the first time all year!
I haven't gotten back out into the garden since that first time on Feb 25th - the first warm day this year...I noticed the correlation between my health and the weather then too, but I didn't stay "better"...I was just momentarily improved. As the weather worsened, so did my health again.
My x-ray came back "clear" - so nothing sinister, and no cracked rib from all the coughing...however, it did show I have a hyper inflated lung, and this was causing the pain around all one side of my ribcage. I reckon I've been ill for 9 weeks...felt like a lot longer!
I had a look round a garden centre for my Centranthus, but they said it's too early in the year yet. I fancied a sundial stepping stone too, but the one I found was huge! Need one the same size as my existing ones.
Hopefully my health will stay improved and I'll get back out in my garden more regularly soon
